eth.limo Gateway Skill

eth.limo is a privacy-preserving gateway that resolves ENS (Ethereum Name Service) names to decentralized storage content (IPFS, IPNS, Arweave, Swarm). It bridges Web2 browsers to Web3 content.

Quick Access

To access any ENS domain's decentralized content, append .limo to the domain:

  • vitalik.eth → vitalik.eth.limo
  • uniswap.eth → uniswap.eth.limo

Works in any browser without extensions or special configuration.

How to Deploy a dWebsite

Step 1: Upload content to decentralized storage

For IPFS (most common):

Step 2: Set ENS Content Hash

  1. Go to ENS Manager App
  2. Connect wallet that owns/manages the ENS name
  3. Click on your ENS name → Records tab → Edit Records
  4. Go to "Other" tab
  5. In the Content field, enter your content hash:
    • For IPFS: ipfs://QmYourContentHash
    • For IPNS: ipns://k51qzi5uqu5d...
    • For Arweave: ar://yourArweaveId
  6. Click Save and confirm the transaction

Step 3: Access your site

After transaction confirms (and up to 5 min cache), visit: yourname.eth.limo

Gateway Features

  • HTTPS Certificates: Auto-generated on demand for all subdomains
  • Caching: 5-minute cache on all content
  • Privacy: All logs are fully anonymized
  • Security: TLSv1.3 encryption, strong origin isolation
  • CCIP Support: Off-chain resolution via EIP-3668
