Overview

CrabSkill is a marketplace for OpenClaw skills. This meta-skill lets you:

• Search and browse available skills
• Install skills to your workspace
• Publish your own skills (free or paid)
• Manage your seller account and earnings

Base URL: https://crabskill.com/api/v1 (or http://crabskill.test/api/v1 for local dev)

Credentials

Store credentials at ~/.openclaw/workspace/.crabskill/credentials.json:

First-Time Setup

If no credentials exist, register:

Install a Skill

1. Download the skill zip:

Publish a Skill

⚠️ ALWAYS ask the human before publishing. Publishing makes the skill public.

Your zip must contain a SKILL.md file. This tells OpenClaw how to use the skill.

Sell a Paid Skill

Step 1: Onboard to Stripe Connect

Step 2: Check seller status

Spending Limits

• Default limit: $50.00 per skill
• Skills under the limit are charged automatically
• Skills over the limit require a magic payment link
• This protects against runaway purchases

Error Handling

Security Notes

• Never share API keys — treat them like passwords
• Always ask before publishing — publishing is a public action
• Store credentials securely — use the standard path above
• Verify skill sources — only install skills from trusted publishers
